2016 Year in Review

Our beautiful city has turned into a spectacular winter wonderland over the last few days which has made me slow down and reflect on 2016. This past year has no doubt has it's ups and downs. I've certainly had my moments of feeling deflated and frustrated. In a world that seems to be growing more and more insulated and isolated I continue to find hope in the stories of the families that I meet each year.

Through photography I am able gain access to people, places and experiences that I never thought were possible. As I look back on 2016, I'm thankful to have met so many people who are contributing good to the world. Your smiles, laughs, hugs and faith in me to tell your story fills me with endless joy. I truly believe that a photograph can change someone's life. In an overly curated world, I feel stronger than ever that my job as a photographer is to tell true, honest stories. Honesty, compassion and truth are my beckons of hope for change.

I want to thank each and every one of you who has taken the time to view my work, refer me to your friends and family to trust me. I do everything in my power to pour my heart and soul into telling your story. I am looking forward to meeting new families and telling their stories in 2017.
