I met Devon and Rob this past summer and immediately knew that they were going to throw one awesome wedding. They both moved to Portland not too long ago and (like most of us transplants) fell in love with the area immediately. Since the majority of their guests were coming in from out of town, they wanted to pick a time and a place for their wedding that opitomized Oregon beauty. The Foundry in Lake Oswego was the perfect place for them, but planning an outdoor wedding in November, in Portland, take guts. Our wedding day forecast was 100% rain. I always plan for the worst so I showed up an hour earlier than I was contracted so that I could scout the area for covered spots that we might be able to do some portraits in the rain. As chance would have it, the day turned out to be sunny and perfect. I even heard one of the bridesmaids from Southern California say that it was "hot" outside.
I'm so happy for these two and wish them the best in all of their future adventures.
